Sushi recipe





SUSHI

We prepared these sushis with our dear Japonese friend.
Thank you Michiko for all the nice times spent together.  




Ingredients: (for 5 persons)


1 tin of tuna
2 eggs
3 glasses of round rice
3 slices of smoked salmon
1 avocado
6 surimi sticks
"the laughing cow" type of cheese 
1 teaspoon sugar
3 teaspoons vinagre for sushi 
1 tablespoon of olive oil
mayonnaise
two bamboo mats 
8 noris 
When serving: soy sauce and wasabi sauce.




Preperation step by step.

1. Wash the rice with cold water.




2. Cook the 3 glasses of rice with 2,5 glasses of water. 

3. Cook it until the water is totally absorbed. The rice is then quite sticky. 



4. Let the rice get colder.
  
5. Mix 2 teaspoons of vinagre for sushi with a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt. 


6. Mix the rice with this mixture.  

7. Mix two eggs with a tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of salt. Cook it with a tablespoon of olive oil on a large saucepan to make it thiner. 




8. Slice thinly the cheese, avocado, salmon, surimi and omelette. 



9. Mix the mayo and tuna. 



10. On the nori, spread the rice as shown on the photo. Be careful not to put to much rice, the sushi would then be hard to roll, cut and eat. 

Then choose the ingredients according to your own taste. 

Roll the sushis as shown on the photos.





11. Once rolled, cut the sushis and put them on a plate. Eat them with soy sauce and wasabi sauce.
